Hangar 54 Branding and Collateral

Originally constructed in 1968, 54 Cook Street is now going through its next phase of architectural evolution. We were involved from the outset in creating a name and brand positioning to form the foundation of the building’s new stage of life.

Hangar 54 was inspired by the building’s unique overhanging canopy, high stud ceilings, extensive floor space and exposed metal and concrete. The structure of this expansive building has physical attributes similar to those of an aviation hangar. We positioned Hangar 54 as a destination: a centre of connectivity, innovation and business.

Inspired by textures and colours from architect Warren & Mahoney’s plans, the Hangar 54 brand manifested itself in a supporting brochure and website. The brochure features several tactile details influenced by architectural elements, while the entire Hangar 54 offering is showcased in a modern and responsive website.
